FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.
  • Does this practice do telemedicine or televisits?

Yes! Our office provides telemedicine and video visits for patients through the MyChart app. We also are temporarily providing visits via FaceTime.

  • Does this practice accept my insurance?

We accept most commercial insurances including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, HAP, Cigna, United Healthcare, Total Healthcare, Aetna, and Humana. We also accept most Medicaid HMO plans. Please call the office to find out if we accept your specific health plan.

  • Will my insurance cover a specific test or visit? What will my out-of-pocket cost for my visit today?

Our billing department is only able to give you estimates for the cost of services and we recommend that you contact your insurance carrier to learn about your plan's deductible, coinsurance, office visit copay, and your out-of-pocket maximum. Call the customer service on the back of your insurance card.

  • What if my child is sick or I have questions after business hours?

We do have an on-call provider service after hours. You can call our regular office line and choose the prompt to leave a voice mail message for the on-call provider. This will send an alert to the provider that you need assistance and they will give you a call back, depending on the urgency of your inquiry.

  • My child is sick today. Will I have to wait long for an available appointment for my child to be seen?

We can always accommodate a same day appointment for sick children. We recommend calling the office as soon as possible to get an appointment time that is preferable for your schedule.
